We have a new setup generation that require a new clean installation of the products when the setup and updates are available , please read !
SETUP GENERATION 3 :
1.PESIM MSFS LOCATOR :
- Not requested in setup generation 3 , will failed
Due to the long path names of MSFS2020 and 2024 , we are working on a new setup generation to avoid any issues with our setup provider character limit or Windows character limit itsefl.
This can result in a setup error.
*Please note that due to a script who activate a symobolic path and our product to windows registery for online updates and licence validation , windows defender sometimes recognise it as a virus.
It is 100% not a virus for sure, if you have this isse trying to dowload our setups , please desactivate windwos defender real time protection yo dowload and install our products without issues and unfounded alerts
WORKING :
FIRTS OF ALL : AS SOON AS A _NG SETUP IS AVAILABLE ; UNINSTALL PRODUCTS FROM WINDOWS PANEL AND DELETE PRODUCTS FILES STILL IN THE COMMUNITY FOLDER
RE INSTALL THE PRODUCT WITH THE NEW NG SETUP (see what products NG setups already available at the end of this topic part)
-Our generation 3 setups will have a dedicated simulator name and the NG mention at the end (ex : MAULEM7MSFS_V1.2.1_NG / MAULEM7MSFS2024_V1.2.1_NG)
they will gradually be available at the same time as the adjustment updates for our products on MSFS24
-Our NG setups are by default installed on (C:) Program Files (x86) / Pilot Experience Sim and we recomand you to let it like this but you can choose the location you want
Please not that if you choose the community folder , it will create a Pilot Experience Sim folder with our products inside and our script will create a symbolic link inside to make the product work.
Is for any reason you have a setup error , try disable your antivirus before download the setup and during the installation and if you still have an issue it is because the path where you try to install is to long for our setup and that is why we recommand the default installation
If you need to uninstall for any reason remember to delete symbolic links
If you manually move our files , PESIM CENTRAL will not be able to do online udpates anymore.
A symbolic link will be created in MSFS20 or / and MSFS24 community folders by our post script install in respectiv simulator version depending on the Setup used (MSFS or MSFS24)
TO MAKE IT WORK CORRECTLY : DO NOT UNCHECK THE " LANCH PRODUCT" BOX AT THE END OF THE INSTALLATION
-Our setup will only recognise MSFS and MSFS24 default standard paths to create the symbolic link in community folders who are :

IN THAT CASE , WE RECOMAND YOU TO GO BACK TO STANDARD MSFS COMMUNITY PATHS OR YOU CAN USE MSFS ADDON LINKER TO LINK OUR PRODUCTS INSTALLED IN
(C:) Program Files (x86) / Pilot Experience Sim
