Dear simmers and users of Pilot Experience Sim sceneries and utilities,
We would like to take stock of our evolution and the work to come.
[* MSF20*] With the arrival of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Prepar3D v5 this year, the world of simulation is very hectic. We are very excited about the arrival of this new simulator although we know that it will take time to get everything in place. Whether as a simmer or developer we are aware that improvements will be necessary and normal given the scale of this new project.
We will start our tests on FS20 and start working to get our sceneries on it. As these are new techniques and software, it may take a while or even several months.
We will take this opportunity to make important updates on LFTZ, LFMT and LFBD such as the addition of PBR for Saint-Tropez and Montpellier and version 2 for Bordeaux. LFBDV2 will include new terminals and buildings and a complete re-optimization of each building and library object for a performance gain of 30% or more. The texturing will be reworked as needed in other improvements.
Biarritz is under development initially for P3DV4 / V5 and will also be released for MSF20 in a second phase.
The development of the PESIM FS 20 Settings Pack will be launched soon.
* At the moment, our products for MSF20 will be distributed on Simmarket and our P3D users will benefit from a reduction.

[* P3D*] About Prepar3D, we will continue to develop our sceneries for versions 4 and 5 which are currently the most complete and realistic simulators. Prepar3D v5 although very powerful still contains some visual bugs so we are impatiently awaiting a new update. This year, we plan to update our sceneries on P3DV4 and P3DV5 including version 2 of LFBD Bordeaux which will be free for license holders (ref above)
We have worked hard on improving our techniques since our creation in 2018 and will continue in this way.
LFBZ Biarritz should be released for P3DV4 / P3DV5 in November 2020.
